WHO WE ARE
The Institution & Its First Work
A commissioning house for civic monuments and works of permanent resolve.
A commissioning house for civic monuments and works of permanent resolve.
Luminara Gravitas creates permanent civic monuments that extend into learning, connectivity, and public life. Conceived as a first-of-its-kind civic format, it brings together monument, connectivity, and curated digital learning in a single permanent public installation.
Each work is designed as a lasting source of civic presence and public value, radiating both knowledge and access into its immediate surroundings across generations. The current series centers on Dr. Jose Rizal and is anchored on an existing sculptural work by Peter de Guzman.
Rizal is depicted writing Mi Último Adiós on the eve of his execution — a final act of authorship shaped by the knowledge that his words would continue to teach future generations. Luminara Gravitas carries forward that same idea: that knowledge, once given form, can continue to serve long after its creation.
"We give form to the resolve of those who refuse to be remembered merely for what they built — and wish to be known for what they shaped."
A Philippines where every public square carries not only the form of its heroes but the living inheritance of their knowledge — accessible to all, enduring for generations.
To commission and install civic knowledge monuments that unite sculpture, connectivity, and curated learning — giving patrons a form of legacy equal to the weight of what they have built, and communities a permanent source of public value.
